SHINCA PRODUCTIONS based in Los Angeles got an official permission to look for U.S. Distribution such as Discovery Channel or History Channel for the feature-length TV show "Samurai Tachino Wine Road", starred Shin Koyamada (The Last Samurai). This show was just released throughout Japan with TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) and other 28 affiliated TV stations on 21st March, 2006. It is also sponsored by Toyota, Santry, Haagen-Dazs, Jacomo, ECC Junior and others in Japan. This Documentary movie is based on a true story about 34 Samurai (who were also known as The Last Samurais) delegation sent by the Japanese government to France at the end of Edo era. They were sent to help solve diplomatic problems between Japan and Europe on December 29th, 1893. At the time, Japan closed all of its ports. The Samurai were welcomed by every government they visited, including Napoleon III, in France. They were also photographed standing in front of Sphinx, in Egypt. The Samurai brought back lots of products from their trip including a book on producing wine. They ended their expedition earlier than expected due to the need to report home about the astonishing technology in the modernizing countries. Apr 6th-7th ~ Chuck Norris Kickstart Fundraising Event Shin has been participating every year and will participate in Chuck Norris Kickstart Fundraising Event in Huston, Texas on 6th and 7th of April, 2006 as well. This is an annual invitational charity event and the past participants were including Former President of USA George Bush and his family members, Chuck Norris and his family, Shin Koyamada, Bob Wall, and other celebrities as well. Official Website: http://www.kick-start.org Apr 8th ~ Shaolin Monks Live Kung Fu Performance Event Date: 8th April, 2006 The real Shaolin Monks from Shaolin Temple in China will make a world tour every year and give their LIVE PERFORMANCE in major cities, including Los Angeles in US. Shin Koyamada will give Solo and Group Shaolin Kung Fu performances among the Shaolin Monks on the stage in LA on Saturday, 8th April. The performances would be divided into two different times each day during noon and night on Saturday. The estimated audiences would be anywhere around 8,000 people a day.
